Rav Avrohom Kahaneman zt"l

Led by gedolei Yisroel, rabbonim, roshei yeshivos and roshei kollelim, thousands of Yeshivas Ponovezh students and former students took part in the funeral for HaRav Avrohom Kahaneman zt"l, the Nosi of the yeshiva and the son of the founder and rosh yeshiva, HaRav Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman zt"l, on Tuesday 30 Shvat, 5769. Rav Kahaneman passed away Monday night at the age of 98 following a bout with pneumonia in addition to heart problems.

To boost the trend the Absorption Ministry and the Jewish Agency have decided to institute an innovative tax reform. According to Tax Authority Director-General Yehuda Nasradishi, the new tax program is specially suited to their needs and to the socioeconomic structure of new immigrants and returning residents.

Bezeq Launches Kosher Revolution Campaign

One year after launching its kosher line, Bezeq has decided the public is ready for the next phase. The Kav Venaki campaign directed by ad firm Afikim is off and running, announcing a kosher revolution by Bezeq that can reach every home. The move was fully coordinated with Vaadas HaRabbonim LeInyonei Tikshores and the technological platform was provided by Bezeq.
