Tel Aviv Restaurant Slapped with NIS 151,560 Fine for Employing Workers on Shabbos

The Tel Aviv Labor Court imposed an NIS 151,560 fine on one of the city's restaurants for violating overtime and Shabbos labor laws. Judge Orly Sela fined Big Mama, located on Rechov Hanatziv, a fine of NIS 121,260, while the manager was fined NIS 10,000. The ruling was handed down following a plea-bargain agreement.
Mengele Diary Sold at Auction to Grandson of Holocaust Survivor

Holocaust survivors voiced objections and doubts following reports that the diary of Dr. Josef Mengele, the "Angel of Death from Auschwitz," may his name be blotted out, was sold at auction to a US Jew who is the grandson of Holocaust survivors.
