Kvod Shomayim In Business and Personal Dealings on Thursday Night at Agudah Convention

Rabbi Yaakov Perlow, the Novominsker Rebbe and Rosh Agudas Yisroel; and Rabbi Matisyahu Salomon, Mashgiach, Bais Medrash Govoha; will be the featured speakers at the Thursday night plenary session of Agudath Israel of America's upcoming 87th national convention. The convention will take place November 26-29 at a new location: the Hilton in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Thousands of Yeshivas Itri alumni joined gedolei Yisroel, roshei yeshivos, marbitzei Torah, rabbonim and dayonim in laying to rest HaRav Mordechai Elefant zt"l, founder and rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Itri and author of Zahav Mordechai, who passed away on Motzei Shabbos Parshas Vayeiroh at Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center in Jerusalem at the age of 79.

Led by roshei yeshivos, dayonim and rabbonim, thousands of Ofakim and Jerusalem residents and Yeshivas Ofakim alumni took part in the levaya last week for HaRav Yaakov Horowitz zt"l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Ofakim and one of the leading marbitzei Torah of our generation, who passed away at the age of 66 following a difficult illness.
